Together, we are on ajourney where chasing greatness is constant and breaking new grounds is a norm.Summary/Objective: This position will monitor and review cyber security systems via their logs, reports, and dashboards to identify potential malicious activity, and then work with the Information Security Manager and/or other IT Team Members to respond accordingly to these threats.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform these essential functions:1. Review system logs and alerts to identify activity that is suspicious and/or out of policy.2. Review threat intelligence updates from the NBA, law enforcement agencies, and other cyber security feeds to determine potential risk and exposure to the organization.3. Review vulnerability reports and work with IT to prioritize remediation activities.4. Work with Information Security Manager in helping to develop Standard Operating Procedures in dealing with malicious and suspicious activity, and how to deal with emerging threats.5. Keep up to date on tactics and trends of bad actors with regards to threats in cyber security.6. Work with Information Security Manager and IT Team in responding to cyber security attacks.7. Work with organizational staff around adherence to IT policy, and education of best practices.8. Experience with EDR platforms such as Carbon Black, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, etc.3. Experience with Vulnerability Scanners for hosts and applications4. Experience with DLP tools and policies5. Knowledge of switches, routers, and firewalls6. Prefer applicants with CompTIA Security , Microsoft Technology Associate Security Fundamentals, SSCP, etc.7. Excellent abilities to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organization.8. Ability to interact professionally with front line staff to C-Level staff.Education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience: 3 years of general IT related experience (Desktop, server, and network support), and minimum of 1 year in cybersecurity work experience. Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not have supervisory responsibilityWork EnvironmentThis job splits duties within a professional office environment and within a sports arena. Office hours may vary on a day to day basis which may include some evenings, weekends and holidays. In addition to working office hours staff may be asked to work external events including but not limited to: charity and networking events. Office work is generally sedentary in nature. The office working environment is generally favorable. Office lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Office work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. This job also operates in a sports arena, which includes ascending and descending bleachers/steps, walking on a catwalk over arena floor (100 feet up), and crawling into tight and dimly lit spaces (under bleachers/risers) to troubleshoot technology issues. In the sports arena the work conditions may sometimes be dirty from prior events in the arena (sticky and dirty floors). Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, kneel, or crawl. The employee may frequently remain in a stationary position, as well as operate computers and other office equipment, such as a copy machine, printer and telephone. Staff will frequently ascend and descend bleachers/steps and traverse around the building both on event days and non-event days.
