Our client located in Atlanta is looking for an IT Project Manager to plan and coordinate all aspects of IT specific projects from initiation to delivery. The role of this position is to plan, execute, and finalize projects with a focus on infrastructure upgrades and improvements The role also includes acquiring resources and coordinating effors of team memebers and third party contractors to deliver projects according to the establsihed project plan. This is a senior level position and so candidates are expected to be able to handle larger and more complex projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects on the infrastructure side, leading efforts such as hardware upgrades, servers, network, implementations, etc. This is a hybrid position and so candidates must be from the Atlanta metro area and willing to work on-site a few days per week.

Essential Skills:
- 5 years of specific professional experience such as team or project lead.

- Extensive knowledge of concepts, processes, and tools of project management.

- Well-developed technical skills within project management.

- Ability to plan and carry out virtually all typical assignments within professional area; to train others; to build effective relationships within the City organization.

- Bachelor s degree in computer science, engineering, or business (equivalent professional experience may be considered for substitution for the required degree on an exception basis).
