Job Summary
Minds Matter LLC is seeking a collaborative, purpose driven and creative leader to serve as its Chief Operating Officer (COO). Reporting to the President the COO will support the work of the organization by focusing on the establishment and optimization of day-to-day operations of the company. This will include offering input on decisions regarding expansion, cost-containment, budget, systems, and new business opportunities. The COO will be responsible for the implementation of strategic initiatives that improve company resources.

  • Forecast operational needs of the company and establish plans for implementing new plans and processes.
  • Ensure delivery of superior service; while creating a productive work environment and making sure the necessary personnel structure is in place to handle the everchanging workload and growth plan.
  • Develop and maintain long term-term scalable operational strategies, while working closely with the leadership team to meet company objectives and keep the team on targeted focused track with company goals.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain a framework for communication across teamsegments including ongoing team meetings, team building activities, and leadership educational objectives.
  • Oversee and manage all operations to ensure that consistent, efficient workflows are in place, yielding optimal productivity and performance.
  • Ensure efficiency of human manpower and financial resources to prioritize the critical needs of the company and ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor the day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for the company’s key initiatives.
  • Collaborates with Human Resources, Information Technology, etc.) to carry out company goals
  • Analyze financial performance, draw conclusions; recommend strategies for improving results key areas.

Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree required in healthcare administration, business or public health
  • 5 years of leading the day to day operations in health care, 
  • Ability to communicate strategic vision and provide daily guidance to direct and indirect reports regarding projects, workloads, issues, and prioritization
  • Proven management and supervisory skills of both direct and indirect reports.
  • Hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams (i.e., finance and accounting, human resources, and marketing).
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and other data, draw conclusions, andrecommend action based on findings.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, groups and competing priorities; ability to clearly communicate priorities and tradeoffs.
  • Competent with MS operating systems and Office applications.
