Description
The Revenue Operations Analyst (Sales Compensation and Data) will maintain and administer sales incentive plans with extreme accuracy and work with managers to align incentive plans with organizational objectives. This role will also be heavily involved in reporting and data analysis to support decision making. The successful candidate will possess excellent data modeling and analytical skills as well as the ability to communicate complex information to all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Master the data and processes associated with the sales organization's quotas, quota attainment, commission structure, territory structures and performance.
- Map compensation plans from each role in the sales organization to the commission software (Xactly) and monitor/adjust as necessary.
- Audit and maintain accuracy of data in Xactly to ensure commission plans are being executed as planned.
- Adjust compensation plans on an as-needed basis relative to territory changes, quota adjustments, new hires, promotions, terminations, etc.
- Partner with Finance to ensure accurate and timely payment for the entire sales organization.
- Proactively monitor and assess sales data on an ongoing basis to ensure future annual planning efforts are streamlined.
- Support the compensation planning design cycle from design-to-deployment
- Provide data analysis and modeling to measure the effectiveness of existing incentives and designs/test the feasibility of new designs.
- Partner with GTM leadership to establish territory plans and optimize territory structure to optimize growth.
Develop ability to utilize multiple data sets to collect, analyze, and communicate team performance trends and results.
- Prepare and distribute monthly business performance decks.
- Assist with data gathering and organization for ad hoc analyses.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sales compensation and data analytics.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
- 2 years of experience administering sales commission software / plans.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Data Analytics or related field.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and communicate significant amounts of information with extreme precision.
- Excel expert- formulas, pivot tables, V lookup and experience combining data sources.
- PowerBI and Sql experience a big plus.
- Ability and initiative to work effectively both independently and on a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
