Senior Financial Analyst – Power Tools Accessories Category Role (LNE) – Finance Duties and Responsibilities: Provide analysis and support of sales and standard margin results, including but not limited to mix analysis, volume, cost, and pricing decisions. Identify knowledge gaps and develop tools, processes & models to provide meaningful information to internal customers based on various decision and actions. Lead Operational projects supporting Business Unit strategic planning including capacity analysis, make/buy decisions, capital planning and material/labor/Overhead cost scenarios. Identify risks and opportunities related to existing Operational and Commercial Business Unit plans Partner with internal customers to analyze profitability for Business Unit. Identify root cause of monthly financial variances, communicate actuals and forecast, with accompanying "stories" to the Financial and Operational leadership teams. Review and present financial information to internal customers, providing recommendations for maintaining and increasing profitability. Demonstrate a commitment to the process of continuous improvement. Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities and streamline processes. Easily adapts to changing needs of finance and operational departments, and able to create meaningful ad hoc "what-if" financial analysis. Job Requirements: 3 years of experience in Finance or Accounting; Operations or Manufacturing experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization (written, verbal, presentation, and listening). Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Self-motivated. Ability to work well on diverse, cross-functional teams. Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
