HVAC - Supervisor Annual Salary Range: $98,009.60 - $105,872.00 This position will remain open until filled. Job Summary: Under general supervision; Directly supervise and support the HVAC team, manage & assign work schedules, manage & assign work assignments, and generally be accountable for the HVAC Team’s day-to-day operations. Manage the maintenance of all department HVAC assets and control systems. When needed, directly support and/or perform Journeyman level HVAC work. Job Duties: Staff scheduling, evaluation, and support Staff work order management, maintenance, project support & emergencies Supervise other HVAC Shop activities Journeyman level work. As time allows, participate in the completion work orders, projects, and maintenance activities described above.General duties as assigned; Including cross-team collaboration & assistance as needed to meet Department goals. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Current resident of the state of Wisconsin High School diploma or G.E.D equivalent in Facility Maintenance, HVAC, Tech, or related field. Five (5) years of experience in Journeyman Level HVAC Tradesman. Three (3) years of supervisory experience in Job Foreman, Supervisor and/or Management. Intermediate knowledge of all related computer and software applications, such as word processing and spreadsheets, especially work order system Ability to train on computer/software applications especially work order system Basic knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and E-mail. The ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs and push/carry up to 75 lbs. regularly Applicants must successfully undergo a criminal history background check to establish security clearance for Milwaukee County facilities and maintain this clearance throughout employment. License/Certifications: Universal CFC Certification ASOPE Boiler Operator’s License within 1 year of hire A valid state of Wisconsin driver’s license at time of hire and maintained throughout employment.
