Miller Management is Hiring a Payroll Specialist (Part-time) Near Kansas, MO

Miller Management is hiring a part-time payroll specialist to service our ever-growing non-profit client base. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented problem solver with great customer service skills and a heart for serving others. Our mission is to provide Expertise that brings Clarity to finances enabling leadership to have Confidence in decision making.

Primary Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Process a high volume of payroll with accuracy in a team environment
  • Payroll tax processing
  • Process Quarterly 941’s
  • Year-End W-2 processing
  • Assist other team members with work, when available
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in payroll processes
  • Detail-oriented
  • Problem solver
  • Works well under deadlines and pressure
  • Flexible and adaptable attitude
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred
  • Experience with churches and/or nonprofits is a plus

This is a part-time, non-exempt position, with a schedule of 28 hours weekly on average. Once fully trained, this person will work Monday-Thursday, with varied times each day/week due to variable schedules of workload.
