Currently, MPG is seeking to hire an experienced EHS Coordinator for our location at 9400 Globe Center Dr Morrisville, NC. If you possess the required skills and experience as outlined below, please submit your resume for consideration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Aid in ensuring facility EHS compliance
• Coordinate, lead, and document safety committee meetings
• Participate in incident investigations as needed
• Perform appropriate job task analyses (JTAs) across all departments
• Work with department leads to perform machine hazard assessments
• Coordinate with EHS Manager regarding reviewing and providing enhancements to corporate EHS policies
• Communicate with external vendors regarding maintenance of current and prospective accounts
• Identify gaps by conducting gap analyses on EHS initiatives and directives
• Assist with EHS-related employee communications, assessments, trainings, recommendations, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Requires 2 - 5 years of experience in workplace safety
• Knowledge of 29 CFR 1910, ANSI, NFPA
• Experience in hazard identification and risk analysis

• Familiarity with employee relations and conflict resolution
• A high level of comfort in a manufacturing environment and experience working directly with production teams
• High attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidential employee information
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and other information tools
• Preferred qualifications include:
  • Audit experience
  • IIPP (Injury and Illness Prevention Program) knowledge and experience
  • Project management experience
  • OSHA 10- and/or 30-Hour certification
  • Bilingual
  • CPR/AED/BBP/FA certifications
