Job Description
- Supervise students and staff in the classroom, and ensure a calm, peaceful environment
- Assist with general monitoring of playground and mealtime to ensure safety and order
- Develop sound relationships with all students
- Ensure group transitions happen safely and effectively
- Maintain clean and organized classrooms
Qualifications
- CDA credential
- At least 1 year early childhood education experience
- Ability to work effectively with parents, co-workers, and diverse communities
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
- First Aid/CPR certification is required within 90 days of hire
- The ability to sit on the floor with students, lift 30 pounds, and bend down
- Health and Safety Orientation Training required within 90 days
- Criminal background check and fingerprinting
