Mikan Associates LLC dba Mikan seeks Senior Business Intelligence Developer in Chicago, IL. Work closely with our clients as a trusted advisor to evaluate requirements and develop data and analytics solutions. Work with your project team to develop, manage, and execute against project plans. Analyze both qualitative and quantitative information in order to produce insights for our clients. Extract and evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, resolve data conflicts, and customize communication of key data findings to diverse audiences. Develop visual analytics. Develop data integration/ ETL/ ELT processes. Coordinate activities with data source application owners to ensure integration and data integrity. Implement advanced analytics solutions using Big Data technologies.

Requires a Master’s degree in Business or Information and 4 years of experience in Data and Analytics, Data Management. Requires 4 plus years of experience in implementing data and analytics solutions using mainstream data management technologies oracle, sql server, db2, terradata, snowflake, netezza, hadoop, or similar. 4 plus years of experience on design, and data integration (etl) development. Experience in implementing data warehousing using mainstream data integration technologies -- ssis, python, qlik, snowflake, fivetran. 4 plus years of experience with data visualization tools such as sap business objects, tableau, qlikview, power bi or similar. 4 plus year of experience -- adherence to data management development and deployment best practice. Mastery of tools: strong technical experience in one or more of the following data management technologies: snowflake, informatica, sql server, sap hana, hadoop, and cassandra, spark, alooma. Strong technical experience in one or more of the following analytics technologies: tableau, power bi. Excellent organizational skills to work in a fast-paced environment and manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Demonstrated success collaborating with teams to achieve stakeholder expectations. Client-centric mentality: reliable, professional, exceeds expectations. Track record for independently learning new technologies quickly, and passion for personal professional development. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to determine and resolve root issues. Strong written, and verbal communication, as well as presentation skills. Requires valid US driver’s license and reliable transportation with the ability to travel within Chicago region to client sites as needed.
