In consultation with Senior Portfolio Management Team Lead, performs a variety of technical and advisory investment-related analysis and account support which ensures that management is provided with meaningful analyses and timely reporting. Assists with the management and facilitation of trade investments for Trust Department accounts. Performs statistical and comparative analyses to support investment-related decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Executes asset purchase and sale requests from Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers.
  • Works with Portfolio Manager to build periodic and ad hoc investment reports for clients.
  • Performs research, and prepares presentations for trust clients and prospects, as it relates to investment management services of the Bank.
  • Completes statistical and comparative analyses to support investment-related decisions, policies and procedures.
  • Reviews and assists with managing investments for client accounts, analyzing the holdings.
  • Assists Portfolio Managers with investment models, strategies, monitoring securities and allocation positions.
  • Provides support to Relationship Managers with client-support related items, including but not limited to client packets, market data/research, and performance related materials.
  • Utilizes Morningstar, FactSet, FirstRate, Bloomberg, Scorecard, Cheetah and other software/research tools to perform investment analysis and related duties.
  • Creates Investment Committee reports and prepares various monthly and ad hoc reports for internal/external use.
  • Monitors and maintains the Approved Securities list.
  • Participates in investment related reviews and department.
  • Assists with investment functions, activities and accounts in all traditional financial services lines, including initiating trades per direction.
  • Assists with Trust activity in traditional financial services (i.e., stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETF’s).
  • Works with Administration and Operations on a variety of functions and projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of post high school education and related work experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a trust/investment role preferred.
  • Knowledge of trust administration procedures and practices helpful. Banking or financial experience is preferred.
