Your role as a Surgical Technician will allow you to help our patients, staff, and community by providing the supplies and specialty products needed to improve efficiency. You’ll be joining a passionate team of Nurses, Technicians, and Physicians. This role offers plenty of opportunity to grow your skills as and expand your knowledge in healthcare!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Scrub all surgical cases as assigned
• Identify and anticipate the surgeon’s needs and preferences prior to and during operative procedure
• Completes required sponge and sharp counts
• Demonstrates proper sterile technique during procedures
• Assist surgical team in the planning and coordinating of patients plan of care
• Assist in sterilization and cleaning of instruments
• Demonstrate awareness for Exposure Control
• Convey ideas, concepts, and facts relating to patient care in a logical and concise manner
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination unless granted an approved medical or religious exemption
• Valid Driver’s License

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Successful completion of Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) exam
• Experience working in Ophthalmology and ENT services
