Midwest Finishing Systems is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team.
Midwest Finishing Systems is a leader in the design, fabrication, and installation of complete turnkey systems for industrial finishing and powder coating applications. We custom design and build all our pretreatment washers, dry-off and cure ovens, environmental rooms, conveyance systems, and controls to specific requirements.
Controls Engineer Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing PLC programs
• Assist in developing HMI programs
• Onsite service, commissioning, and training for the systems installed by MFS
• Provide remote and over the phone support for past and future systems installed by MFS
• Travelling to job sites

Controls Engineer Requirements and Qualifications:

• Allen Bradley PLC Programming experience
• HMI developing skills (FactoryTalk View)
• Experience with motor controls (Variable Frequency Drives, Soft Starts)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of system electrical prints
• Able to troubleshoot equipment
• Microsoft Office skills
• Ethernet IP experience
