Job Title: Contract Engineering Associate Mid

Location: Burlingame, CA

What's the Job?

• Spearhead the development of APIs in the system-level framework layer to enable compelling and performant use cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build end-to-end solutions and set technical direction for significant improvements.
• Debug functional, performance, and stability issues across the stack in collaboration with Application and Platform teams.
• Lead design and code reviews, uplifting coding and design skills within the team through the introduction of best practices.
• Model behaviors through clean, readable code, ensuring upfront debug-ability and testability of complex components.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience, with expertise in Android/AOSP, CoreOS, and Linux OS focus.
• Strong proficiency in coding with C/C and experience with lower-level OS components.
• Extensive experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and device drivers.
• Prior experience with Android internals, AOSP, Zephyr RTOS, or FreeRTOS development is highly desirable.
• Proven track record in developing MCU or AOSP consumer electronics systems.
• Familiarity with system performance tools and debugging hardware is advantageous.
