MicroTech is Hiring a Project Manager Near Washington, DC

Overview

Provide Project Level research, data gathering, and execution. The contractor shall organize this data and use it as supporting documentation to complete the following:

  • Research and draft Quarterly and Monthly Performance Report (QPR/MPR)
  • Update, format, and review for consistency
  • Print copies of briefs and presentations (MS Power Point)
  • Update and maintain Program QPR and MPR worksheet links to other documents, references, and financial data systems
  • Update information for DHS Project Portfolio briefings to include reviewing project level presentations for uniformity and format consistency

Responsibilities

The Contractor shall research and draft the following program and program-level documentation:

  • Monthly Program Risk Report
  • Collaborate with CG-9 Integrated Government Schedule (IGS) team to establish and maintain the program/project plan using Microsoft Project to track the program’s progress. The schedule shall be updated regularly in accordance with the delivered schedule and shall forecast schedule variances\
  • Research, compile, evaluate and report information to support the Program’s Risk Management. Updated information shall be incorporated and kept current within the respective risk register of active Program risks.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience working in a support role for a Federal Government Agency Acquisition Project Management Office (PMO)
  • 5 years of experience working as a Project Manager supporting a Federal Government Agency
  • Acquisition Project Management Office (PMO) – DHS (or equivalent) Level I or II program.  Experience with Electronic Health Record solutions is strongly preferred.  Experience with an IT acquisition program is preferred.
  • Education:  A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.  Master’s degree is preferred.  A project management professional (PMP) certification is preferred.  A DHS Level III PM certification or equivalent experience level is preferred.
