Pay Range:

$14.00-$17.00 (depending on benefits)

Opt-Out Program: Employees may elect to waive participation in all benefits outlined above and, in return, will receive an additional $3.00 per hour.

The Material Handler Performs the following:

• Organize all incoming material to the area. Keep all operations supplied with materials.
• Take recyclable runners from machine, regrind them, and place with like materials in appropriately labeled containers.
• Scan completed parts and other in-process inventory into computer system including sub-assemblies and reworked parts.
• Assist with resolution of inventory issues.

Requirements

Educational Requirements and Years of Experience:

• High School diploma or GED.

Administrative, Technological and Behavioral Skills:

• Forklift certification preferred
• Basic computer familiarity - Understanding of the operation of a Personal Computer and peripheral equipment. Experience with Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access) or equivalent preferred.
• Good communication skills – Able to communicate ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
• Can do attitude - Pleasant demeanor when interacting with individuals even on stressful situations.
• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs, occasionally. Must be able to work while standing, walking, and maneuvering around equipment 8 hours per day.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to lift/maneuver material up to 200lbs with help.
• Ability to lift/push objects up to 50 lbs without help.
• Walk/Stand 6-8 hours per day.
