POSITION PURPOSE:
Micromeritics is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented, organized individual to join our Stock Room team!

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under direct supervision, properly receives, handles, stores, and counts materials.
POSITION DUTIES & WORK TASKS:
In order of importance, most important first, use the table below to list the position duties and responsibilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Unloads and loads materials.
• Enters all material movements into inventory control system.
• Creates labels and documents to track material movement.
• Puts up stock according to defined procedures.
• Pulls stock and/or kits.
• Searches inventory control system for location of materials.
• Prepares customer orders for shipment, including boxing, packing, labeling, and stocking finished goods.
• May assemble material on pallets for shipment.
• Performs cycle counts to verify record accuracy.
• Performs pick-ups and deliveries as needed.
• Notifies Supervisor when stock is low.
• Operates pallet jack, stand up forklift, company truck and other material handling equipment.
• Maintains neat and orderly work area to ensure efficiency and prevent safety hazards.
• Meets all quality, quantity, and established manufacturing practices to satisfy customer and regulatory requirements.
• Follows established work practices to ensure proper handling of hazardous chemicals and comply with established procedures for emergency responses.
• Complies with ISO 9001 procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITIES:
Education/Training
• High school diploma, GED, or education/experience equivalent.
KNOWLEDGE
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Basic reading, Writing and math skills.
SKILLS
• Beginner PC Skills.
ABILITIES
• Ability to operate Forklift and pallet jack.
