A qualified candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise to support engineering and manufacturing applications. A successful candidate will assist in supporting production virtualization environments, storage area network, networking equipment, and general IT infrastructure. This candidate should be familiar with older technology and current on new technology to provide guidance to IT management. Able to work independently and in a team. Work with both a technical and non-technical user community. Be willing to work in a clean room environment wearing full bunny suit attire. Support of a 24x7 manufacturing site. Provide team leadership and mentoring to other engineers. Support high availability data centers. Create and support VMware Guest MS Window and RedHat Linux Servers. Troubleshoot networking related issues and assign IP addresses. Maintain Corporate IT Security protocols on all devices. Support overall IT infrastructure: Servers, Network, SAN, Building Access. Provide support for power shell scripting. Provide building access control support. Requirements/Qualifications: Job Requirements: Prefer candidate has degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics or equivalent; 5-6.5 years of experience with System Engineering and in an engineer role. Candidate must have a good understanding of network protocols, DHCP, DNS. Must have strong VMware, MS Windows Server 2012 – 2019, and SAN experience. Knowledge of backup and recovery concepts and technology.
