Solid organizational, project management and time management skills

Ability to set priorities, manage multiple projects and meet budgets and deadlines

Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills are necessary to effectively convey goals, initiatives and financial information to various audiences.

Ability to inform, educate and influence managers and employees to support accounting, development and finance goals and objectives.

Demonstrated ability to analyze figures, data, trends and results that directly affect MHS accounting policies.

Ability to interpret and analyze information, resulting in accurate and complete summaries and forecasts of financial performance.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to successfully recruit, manage and develop staff

Bachelors degree in finance or accounting is required. Masters degree in business, finance or accounting with a CPA is preferred.

A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years of management experience. Experience developing and managing budgets is required.

Thorough knowledge of all areas of accounting and reporting, including accounting, general ledger, reconciliations, consolidating complex accounting concepts and transactions, balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements

Knowledge of investments (e.g., types, accounting procedures, etc.) and nonprofit accounting and finance
