The Payroll Manager implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions. Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and transfers.
Responsible for the implementation of payroll systems and state registrations:
- Paylocity Payroll Software
- Integration of Employee Navigator for Medical Insurance
- Integration of VOYA for 401K
- State Unemployment Registration
- Manages payroll specialist
- Prepares, reviews and analyzes various reports:
- Monthly Bonus Calculations
- Bi- Weekly Commission Pay Calculation
- Bi-Weekly Overtime Reports
- Bi- Weekly Total Payroll Costs
- Quarterly Payroll Tax Forms
- Annual Census for 401k
- Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests. Resolves any payroll
errors.
- Maintains payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
- Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information
confidential.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements
- Proven management skills
- Paylocity payroll experience
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Education and Experience:
Bachelors in Accounting or Business Administration
- Proven experience managing payroll
- Knowledge of multi state payroll taxes
- Experience in data collection, entry and reporting
