The Manager, Patient Care is responsible for leading a team who delivers patient care in-person and/or remotely during their recovery period.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manages and leads a growing post-operative team of medical and non-medical personnel
• Motivates high performance in a positive and fast paced work environment
• Provides leadership with respect to removing barriers and identifying solutions to help enable the post-operative team
• Provides professional, well-organized, and proficient communication/instructions to all team members
• Assists and collaborates with team members to address all patient concerns, complications, and/or complaints
• Escalates all pertinent situations to Director, Patient Care
• Responsible for implementing all changes and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards
• Drives initiatives to ensure attainment of post-operative quarterly goals
• Executes data insights (i.e., screening phone calls and Salesforce) to assess compliance, quality assurance, and customer service

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Recruits, develops, and retains top talent
• Leads and develops the post-operative team (medical and non-medical) to drive high performance in a positive and fast paced work environment
• Provides training and coaching to the post-operative team on key areas of job responsibility while fostering strong working relationships; Team comprised of Patient Care Representatives and After-Hours Telephone Triage Registered Nurses.
• Role models and champions the Mia Aesthetics Core Values
• Performance manages to include driving disciplinary actions as necessary

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership and change management skills
• Internal and external customer service orientation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Proficient computer skills

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor degree or higher required
• Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing
• Holds and maintains an active Registered Nurse License and educational requirements
• Holds and maintains an active BLS and ACLS certification
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Minimum of 1 year leadership and/or management experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer and answering multiple phone calls per day
• Must be able to lift up to 10-20 pounds at times

Travel Requirements:

• May be required to travel between administrative office and clinics, dependent on clinic needs.
