Mia Aesthetics Services is Hiring a Director of Facilities Near Miami, FL

Description

The Director Facilities Management is responsible for all company’s grounds, buildings, and furniture to ensure that a workspace is operable. This includes responsibilities across current and future site locations. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Oversees the functioning of all building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire safety, plumbing, waste management etc. 
  • Identifies and engages outside vendors to meet business needs (i.e., pest control, etc.)
  • Performs routine maintenance on facilities and ensure timely repairs as needed
  • Schedule’s routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors
  • Inspects facilities to meet safety regulations 
  • Acts as a liaison between contractors and executive management to ensure delivery of services 
  • Coordinate’s ordering, delivery, and set up of all furniture, fixings, etc. for new and existing clinics in collaboration with the VP Growth & Operations
  • Ensures proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors 
  • Creates reports on maintenance, repairs, safety, and other occurrences for management team
  • Manages and plans for changing weather conditions that may impact the operations of the business and people

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for hiring, managing, and leading Housekeeping team (~10) in Miami, FL
  • Responsible for hiring, managing, and leading Biomedical Equipment Technician team

Requirements

 Skills/Abilities:

  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Adaptable to changing business needs and acting with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent team player with thought leadership skills 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 Years’ experience in Facilities Management role

Physical Experience:

  • Must be able to lift up to 20-50 pounds at times 

Travel Requirements:

  • Up to 70% travel at onset
