Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC) is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Marketing Coordinator . The primary function of the Marketing Coordinator is to curate AP style, journalistic-quality content for sales collateral, digital and e-marketing campaigns, promotional merchandise to support the sales organization and strategic priorities of the company. This position will also be responsible for creating press releases, intranet stories and support company social media efforts.

• Corporate Communications: Contribute to internal news reporting by identifying story leads, reporting the details and creating AP style, journalistic-quality articles for the intranet and other internal program promotions. Contribute to public relations by creating press releases, social media content, website content, etc.
• Social Media: Help concept and schedule content on corporate social media channels. Support Brand Ambassador program by maintaining graphics library, planning content and offering sales team support on channel management.
• Sales Support: Support of specific initiatives designed to enhance the sales process. This includes developing content for printed collateral, sell sheets, infographics, e-newsletters, social media, digital and print advertising and presentations for the general sales force and individual salespeople. Provides graphic design services for web and other media, including print, intranet, presentations, video, photography and other marketing material as requested. Supports monthly email marketing campaigns in Pardot to help generate leads. Occasionally will coordinate purchases of printed materials. The Marketing Coordinator will manage promotional merchandise items and stocked collateral through third party vendors to support all of MHC’s locations.
• Brand Standards: Enforce company standards for brand representation in written or graphic form are met consistently, whenever encountered.
• Administration: Assists Content Marketing Manager with regular departmental maintenance projects: a) Electronic file archives and back-ups, b) information updates throughout collateral database, c) project status reports through current project management tools
• Performs other projects as assigned by supervisor.

• Excellent verbal communication and creative/technical writing skills required with a strong knowledge of AP style.
• Must have a strong commitment to customer service, project management and organization.
• Experience in the following computer systems and software are preferred, but not required: Adobe Creative Suite, Sitecore (CMS), Microsoft Office, Sprout Social, Facebook Business Manager and Pardot.
• SEO experience preferred but not required.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred. College degree in journalism, communications, marketing or equivalent experience.
• Must be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
