Meyer Distributing is looking for a System Administrator to join our Arlington, TX team.
Meyer Distributing is a complete wholesale distributor: automotive, RV/towing, outdoor living, marine, and more. With 85 locations across the country, Meyer services dealers nationwide. Requirements for System Administrators:
- Experience with server operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux
- Hands on experience trouble shooting hardware, software and network issues
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to assist non-technical individuals with complex technical issues.

Monday through Friday: 8am to 5pm
System Administrator duties include but are not limited to:
- Install, maintain and configure servers, storage systems, and network devices
- Manage and monitor system backups and disaster recovery plans.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Ensure system security by implementing and maintaining access controls, firewalls, and other security measures.
- Monitor system performance and take necessary actions to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and policies.
