Salary: $70,000 annually

Metrowest Nutrition and Therapy has an immediate opening for a full-time Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary group practice.

Position Overview:  Candidates must be fully licensed in the state of Massachusetts with a minimum of one year working with children and adolescents with eating disorders/disordered eating. Experience providing FBT is strongly preferred; DBT, ACT, ERP is also a bonus. The ideal candidate is growth-oriented, enjoys learning, collaborates well with others, and is committed to the mission of our organization.

About Our Practice: Metrowest Nutrition and Therapy is a multi-disciplinary group practice dedicated to helping individuals heal their relationship with food, movement and body. Our therapists specialize in eating disorders, disordered eating, adolescent health, emerging adults, trauma, mood disorders.

Originating as a nutrition counseling practice, our services now include psychotherapy, occupational therapy and movement therapy. Our physical offices are in Newton Centre, Framingham and Westborough. We operate from an inclusive Health at Every Size (HAES) model and are committed to creating a space for diversity both within our team and for our clients. We strongly believe that whole-person healing includes a close, compassionate investigation into all components of wellbeing: physical, psychosocial, emotional and economic while honoring an individual's cultural identity.

Practicing from HAES/ Body Liberation Orientation. At Metrowest Nutrition we practice EXCLUSIVELY from a trauma-informed, weight-neutral/body liberation HAES-aligned framework. It is essential that any clinician who joins our practice is aligned with this philosophy. We specialize in eating disorders, disordered eating, feeding issues, body image, women’s health, and athletic performance. Ideally, clinicians have some experience in these areas prior to joining our team.

Required Education/Licenses/and Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree with active licensure as a PhD, PsyD, LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC in the state of Massachusetts
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience treating children/adolescents (12 years old ) with eating disorders/disordered eating
  • Experience providing FBT strongly preferred; DBT, ACT, ERP also preferred

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organization and time management
  • Proficient in computer technology

Schedule Requirements:
Full time: Requires minimum of 20 client visits per week

As this role works primarily with children & adolescents, evening availability (3 – 8pm) a minimum of 2x per week is required.

Work Location: Hybrid in-office (Newton, Framingham, and/or Westborough) and work from home

Physical Requirements: Position requires being stationary frequently with occasional need to traverse; constant need to use standard office technology, such as computer/laptop, and verbal communication.
