Job Description

Metron is seeking an Accountant with knowledge of commonly-used accounting concepts, practices, and procedures. This entry-level position will train with our team and perform a variety of routine clerical accounting functions in one or more of the following areas: general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable and/or payroll. These functions include compiling and sorting documents, calculating and verifying amounts, reconcilliations and performing other Accounting related projects as assigned.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Understanding of Cost Accounting preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent attention to detail
• Able to work in team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Excellent time management skills
• Willingness to learn 

Position Location: Reston, VA; the selected individual must be able to report to the Reston office but will also be able to work from home
