Coordinator Cellular Therapy Quality - Cancer Care Operations
Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER
Biweekly Hours: 80.00
Shift: 8-5

Assumes accountability for ensuring ongoing assessment of the stability, reproducibility, and effectiveness of critical processes required for the Cellular Therapy Program; efficiency, safety, and achievement of desired patient care outcomes; and maintaining compliance with standards imposed by any regulatory agency related to the Cellular Therapy Program.
2 years of recent clinical experience.
Experience with QI principles and skills
Demonstrated ability to establish and cultivate productive and positive working relationships with a wide range of partners, including MetroHealth Senior Leadership and staff, patients and families, external clients, and community constituents.
Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communications skills, including experience making presentations across a wide range of audiences and modalities.
Demonstrated ability to identify and effectively resolve problems/issues.
Demonstrated ability to embrace and lead team though change initiatives and to adapt to quickly evolving situations.
Demonstrated strong critical thinking, abstract thinking, and analytical skills.
Demonstrated competence and experience with Microsoft applications: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds
Preferred:
Experience in quality/performance improvement and/or bone marrow transplantation.
Experience as a registered nurse, medical technologist, social work or related field.
Experience in Cellular Therapy Transplant.
Current AHA certification(s) relevant to clinical practice area (as outlined in the RN Clinical Nurse job description).
Physical Demand:
May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating.
May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing.
Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.
Ability to read job related documents.
Ability to use computer.
