Metro Psychotherapy & Counseling is a private insurance-based practice that provides psychotherapy to children, adults, and couples. We are seeking a fee-for-service LMSW or LCSW with the potential to move to full-time with benefits to join our rapidly growing practice at the ground level and deliver quality affordable mental health care to our high-functioning client population. The position is remote, with the option of providing therapy in person at our Bethpage if desired. We have a waiting list of clients and can build your caseload quickly!

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide intake assessments and administer psychotherapy to individuals and couples.
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation in accordance with insurance expectations and best practices.
• Schedule appointments with patients.
• Participate in weekly team meetings.
• Perform a variety of other job-related responsibilities as requested.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Active NYS LCSW/LMSW license.
• Familiarity with various theoretical approaches, such as ACT and CBT.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience in psychiatric assessment and diagnosis.
• Ability to maintain clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans.
• Experience working with electronic medical records.

Pay: $38.00 - $55.00 per hour
