What You'll Do

The IT Infrastructure Analyst will be an enthusiastic and knowledgeable technical team member on our IT team providing Citrix, cloud infrastructure support and supporting Metrie Associates by responding to queries and resolving technical issues including incidents, service requests and change orders. The successful candidate must have a passion for technology and be looking to grow their technical skills.

Key Relationships: The Infrastructure Support Analyst will report directly to the Director, IT Operations and will work closely with other IT Operations team members offering technical support.

Location: This role can be based in any of Metrie’s distribution or manufacturing facilities.

At a high level you will:

· Perform at a high level within a distributed team

· Respond to Tier 3 system incidents and other tickets via the service desk by performing tasks such as gathering information and feedback from user department, investigating and prioritizing incidents and tickets according to potential impact, analyzing and diagnosing problems and formulating solutions, escalating unresolved incidents and tickets as required, and communicating progress on tickets to the service desk, customers, and/or technical teams.

· Providing user training to users on system usage and applications as required

· Scheduling, managing and communicating client requests for assistance, change requests and other such issues through the IT ticket tracking system; monitoring progress to ensure prompt and efficient resolution

· Working closely with the IT Operations Team with respect to technical and operational problems and the implementation of new or upgraded products

· Maintaining current knowledge of products offered, application functionality and the high level architecture of our hosting environment

· Performing other duties as required to deliver exceptional service and to support Metrie’s business goals

Who You Are

We would love to hear from you if you have:

· Degree or Diploma in computer science or technology related discipline with a relevant IT focus (or equivalent)

· 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure or networking role  and customer service experience

· Hands on experience with Citrix and with design and deployment of cloud infrastructure

· Experience with implementing and administering Microsoft Azure and Azure Active Directory in mid tier sized environment

· Experience with moving on-premise applications and workloads onto a cloud platform

· Experience with implementing and administering Microsoft 365 applications such as Office, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive

· Experience with managing security access controls in an Azure environment

· Experience implementing and administering Single Sign-On solutions for on-premise and cloud applications

· Sound knowledge of the principles, methodologies, tools and techniques utilized in providing IT support services

· Strong technical expertise with Azure, Office 365

· Ability to gather information, diagnose and analyze a variety of technical and non-technical issues and provide information and/or solutions as required 

· Well-developed analytical, problem solving, organizational and time management skills

· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with clients, technical teams and other co-workers

· Work to schedules and adapt easily to changing priorities and business needs

· Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

 It would be an added bonus if you have: 

· Experience with Citrix, Office 365, SD WAN, Meraki,

· Experience in Unified Communications, Citrix and SD-WAN

· Knowledge and application of the Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) best practices
