GUARANTEED FULL TIME (40 HRS) ENTRY-LEVEL JOB - NO NIGHTS, NO WEEKENDS

Metal Supermarkets is looking for a reliable, friendly, physically active team member who wants 40 guaranteed hours per week.

Metal Supermarkets Norfolk sells metal cut-to-size to a variety of businesses and consumers. We are looking to add a great person to our team who is willing to learn the metal business, deliver orders and work in our warehouse. The ideal candidate is reliable, has a good driving record, likes getting his/her hands dirty, and who also enjoys an active, fast-paced environment. Due to requirements of shipping to military bases, we cannot consider anyone with a past felony record.

Job Description:

- Deliver metal to our customers in our company truck, including loading and unloading the truck

- Receive, identify and stock incoming metal

- Ensure Warehouse is clean, organized and safe at all times

Job Requirements

- Motivated and enthusiastic team member

- Great attention to detail is a must

- Candidate must know measurements and fractions (will be tested)

- Ability to lift 75 pounds

- Must be accountable and reliable

- Safe driving record, no felony convictions

- A current Forklift Driving Certificate is a plus but not required

- Store will provide company shirts, gloves and safety equipment.. Employee is responsible for having steel toed boots and work pants

- General and personal safety training will be provided

- Work schedule is Monday - Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM
