Duties * You will serve as a Leader Expert in the installation, maintenance, removal and modification of temporary shipboard ventilation and air conditioning distribution systems. * You will serve as the subject matter expert performing inside shop work to fabricate, test, repair and/or install replacement parts for damaged vent ducts and other sheet metal components. * You will ensure support is provided and coordinated on other temporary utility services to ships and submarines such as: shore power, industrial power, low pressure air and water. * You will exercise leadership skills to mentor, train and demonstrate to others proper trade techniques and practices, safety precautions when operating machinery or equipment, and correct usage of precision instruments and measuring devices. You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs. * This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
