We are hiring for an Inventory Analyst to join our team. The Inventory Analyst will examine buying and selling practices related to manufactured goods and products. The inventory analyst will monitor and anticipate the rate of sale for each type of product offered by the company.

Essential Functions:

  • Estimates future demand for the company’s products and analyzes inventory flow to build forecasting models.
  • Reviews historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and prepare forecast data.
  • Collaborates with leaders within the company to ensure we can continue to supply consumers based on future demand.
  • Successfully communicates forecast and inventory estimations to management team.
  • Monitors and reports on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
  • Performs SKU rationalization periodically.
  • Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Develops processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven work experience in a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
  • Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication.
  • Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be organized, detail oriented, and hardworking.
  • Relevant training and/or certifications.
  • Ability to follow direction from supervisors and work closely with team to accomplish company goals.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in retail buying field preferred and/or equivalent related experience and training.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar or related role.
  • Forecasting Certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite or related software.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency required.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times, at times from overhead locations.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
