Description: Messner Reeves LLP, an established full-service, business law firm, with 12 offices nationwide, seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney to defend companies in corporate disputes, commercial litigation, breach of contract, construction disputes, employment, including matters involving defense of employment lawsuits, and healthcare disputes.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Experience drafting and arguing motions.
- Excellent academic credentials needed.
- Assist with a caseload of predominately construction defect and general liability insurance defense litigation.
- Experience handling all phases of complex commercial and civil litigation matters.
- Proficiency in taking depositions, hearing attendance and trial preparation.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to foster strong relationships with potential clients while maintaining excellent services for existing clients.
- Established a book of business with the desire to continue the grow their practice through the full support of the firm.
Requirements:

Proven working experience in Insurance Defense Litigation.
- Working knowledge of Office 2013, Outlook 365, LexisNexis and court filing docketing.
- Extensive computer and database expertise
- Candidate should be pro-active to handle necessary tasks for busy attorneys without constant oversight.
- The ideal candidate will take the initiative, have strong attention to detail, highly organized & has impeccable communication skills.
- The ideal candidate will have two to six years’ experience.
- Licensed to Practice Law in California.
