We are currently meeting with qualified candidates to find 2 high-performance Installers who positively and effectively contributes to our Production department. You will be responsible for initial site surveys, minor material production, installation, cleanup and taking photographs of completed installations. This is a full-time, career position where you will be empowered to make decisions, execute projects, and achieve results.
Founded in 1925, Messenger is an innovative design and fabrication company seeking a Vinyl & Graphics Installer. Messenger is unique, and our state-of-the-art design studios are backed by our 40,000 square foot production facility in Seattle, making us a one-stop shop for many of our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients before, during and after the installation.
- Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
- Preparation of installation materials including tools, brackets, hardware, adhesives, and safety equipment.
- Install vinyl graphics to flat interior and exterior surfaces including walls, windows, floors, and ceilings.
- Completing the measurement and marking of site surveys.
- Reviewing design specifications prior to commencing installation.
- Fabricating and constructing commercial signage.
- Grinding and finishing completed products.
- Performing quality checks on prepared pieces.
- Conforming with state and company safety regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 1 year work experience as an installer.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Experience with concrete and forms.
- Ability to lift and manipulate 80 pounds.
- Be available for occasional night, weekend, and/or early morning work with advance notice.
- Valid Drivers License
