We are seeking a UX Researcher to work with the product team and customers. You will lead workshops and interviews to research user journeys and take the findings and ideas through prototyping and into development. You’ll work closely with the Product Development Team in an Agile environment where you will plan, facilitate, and analyse User Testing and card sort sessions.

This is a key role for the business that will help us shape our future for years to come.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the discovery of user wants and behaviours.
• Share research findings, reports and recommendations with the organisation to assist with decision making.
• Establish the UX research process and implement best practices.
• Define research goals and write interview scripts.
• Manage the recruitment of users and maintain a customer panel program.
• Create artefacts and prototypes to support research activities.
• Contribute to ideation, sketching and other UX design activities.
• Work closely within a multidisciplinary team, including Product Managers, Developers, Sales, Support and Operations.

To be successful you will have the following skills and attributes:

• Proven experience running an ongoing program of research using a variety of methods
• Demonstrable skills engaging and collaborating with a wide variety of stakeholders
• Proven experience executing a variety of research activities including user interviews, in-person and remote usability testing, surveys, card sorting and more
• 3 years of experience applying User Centered Design methodologies for web and mobile applications
• Experience mapping customer journeys
