What it takes:

  • Willingness to work with external customers as well as our internal departments and employees to ensure effective troubleshooting and problem resolution... We have each other’s back.
  • A wide variety of skills, and the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems in a wide variety of environments… After all, we are growing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, great time management skills, and the ability to manage complex data and technical documentation… Set your team up for success. Nobody likes to be left in the dark.
  • Must be able to work on-call, after-hours, and Holidays periodically… Remember, we are here to provide excellent customer service.

Let’s work together to succeed together! Relevant industry experience in some of the following areas (more is better) is a good start:

  • A solid understanding of the necessity for basic network, server, workstation, and end user security, and multi factor authentication methods.
  • Supporting, managing, troubleshooting, and resolving first level service requests with the appropriate level of urgency and professionalism.
  • Direct and indirect contact with customers, vendors, and staff.
  • Proper management of workflow using research, documentation, RMM tools, ticket system, and communication.
  • The ability to effectively communicate technical information using written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows Operating Systems (servers and workstations).
  • Basic knowledge of Remote Desktop and VPN configuration and usage.
  • Basic knowledge of installing applications on workstations.
  • Basic knowledge of the installation, usage, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Office 365 applications and licensing, including OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Basic knowledge of the installation, usage, and troubleshooting of teleconferencing applications such as Zoom, Skype, and Teams.
  • Basic knowledge of the installation, usage, and troubleshooting of peripheral hardware such as docking stations, printers, mice, keyboards, and monitors.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Basic knowledge of Apple computers and IOS.
  • Basic knowledge of mobile devices.

Some experience in the following areas will serve you greatly in this role:

  • Prior support desk experience.
  • The use and creation of documentation.
  • CompTIA IT Fundamentals certification.
  • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals certification.
  • Apple Certified Support Professional.
  • Basic knowledge of network concepts, devices, and best practices.

Work Schedule/Travel - Shifts for this role will be scheduled between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM (CT). In addition to the normal work shifts, you must periodically be able to work on-call, after-hours, and holidays.
