This role will be based in the Houston Corporate office and will report to the Strategic Sourcing Manager. Supply Chain personnel are based in multiple locations across the US and some travel may be required.

• Reviews and processes purchase requests for goods and services
• Support the total life cycle of the Procurement Process, including documentation of process controls and action items within ConnectWise (CW) and other systems
• Build and maintain relationships with existing vendors
• Identify new vendors to service emerging needs
• Serve as primary contact for Procurement related inquiries, ensuring timely and effective communication with vendors, customers, and internal teams
• Align with various internal departments (Sales, PMO, etc.) to create reports and processes which help the Project Team deliver projects on time and within budget to customers
• Develop and track appropriate Procurement KPIs in conjunction with management
• Proactively explore new programs for continuous improvements in material and process changes to achieve the best quality, reliability, pricing, and delivery from suppliers
• Track shipments to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the project schedule and provide shipment status reports
• Identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities, and collaborate with the business and functional teams to implement and track value creation

• ERP system experience with Purchase Orders and Sales Orders, preferably ConnectWise
• 5 years of experience sourcing a variety of goods and services
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High-level attention to detail
• Proven ability to apply standard processes, and manage multiple priorities
• Strong MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Work Schedule/Travel - Standard Meriplex business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with the ability to have a flexible schedule due to work volume. The ability to travel up to 5% may be required based on requirements and location which might be outside of the Houston metro area.
