What will you need to succeed?

Our technicians aim to help our customer’s bird problems while addressing the health and food safety issues caused by birds:

  • Lives within 50 miles of New Haven, CT.
  • Loves to travel on the road to carry out adventurous endeavors.
  • Has a people-first mentality and is always willing to help others. 
  • Is a life-long learner with an appreciation for wildlife and nature.
  • Has a capacity to work autonomously or collaboratively.
  • Ability to adapt and overcome challenges with a commitment to capturing the bird every time.
  • Enjoys analyzing, investigating, and creative problem solving. Each bird capture provides a unique opportunity to offer innovative solutions to our customers challenges.
  • Can meet the physically demanding requirements of the job-standing, walking, lifting, and looking up at birds.
  • Can meet the visual requirements—are you able to see small birds at long distances and follow their flight patterns.
  • This is a permanent part-time position.

What are the responsibilities?

  • Technicians use their personal vehicle and are dispatched from their home.
  • Set your own 3-full day schedule of availability.
    • Minimum of one weekend of availability per month.
    • Our most successful technicians are often on site at sunrise
  • Each job challenges our technicians to adapt and overcome.
  • Help our customers solve their health and food safety issues.
  • Work in diverse settings ranging from small stores to large distribution centers.
  • We provide training of our patented capture process.

What is the compensation?

  • Many of our part-time bird removal technicians earn $1,000-$2,000 per month with the opportunity to earn more as they attain company and personal goals*.
  • Preventative health coverage option available.
  • Meridian supplies all your gear, which easily fits in a standard size car.

*Compensation is subjective and is only an average of what our Bird Removal Technicians can make. There is no guarantee that any one person will receive any set amount of compensation during any period of time. Compensation is dependent on several variables, including but not limited to, seasonality, location, rank, bonuses attained, and off-the-job pay.
