Roles and Responsibilities:

 New Product or Process Introduction

• Follow up the APQP Manufacturing tasks for new programs.
• Ensure the accomplishment of the manufacturing, industrialization, and the process for the new programs according to the APQP.
• Apply all Lessons learned to new Programs.
• Create and follow up on the technical specifications of the tools and machines, following from the original concept to the final commissioning, including the sign off and all logistics.
• Standardize new equipment.
• Implement line layouts in accordance to safety and lean principles.
• Develop standard work for all new products and carry out training.
• Generate internal packaging procedures and submit customer packaging specification documents. 
• Coordinate technical preparation and support on site activities such as prototype trials, OT, OT/OP, pre-production, R@R & SOP 3 Months, (Pre-Trial preparation, Daily Trial activities and Trial Report). 
• Ensure that all deliveries will be accomplished according to Customer Milestones.
• Ensure that new programs will be launched and delivered to the plant with a robust process with all qualifications of the product according to CAPEX and KPI's, established in the beginning of the project. 
• Deliver all proper documentation for new Programs (Setting Books, PFEMIA, Flow Diagrams, Pokayoke List, etc.)
• Lead Product Development Change management activities.
• Have effective management of customer site visits. 

Production Support

• Drive OEE and Labor Efficiency by developing optimal workflows and eliminate all causes of waste through the usage of data.
• Apply standardized problem-solving techniques to determine root causes of manufacturing and quality concerns.
• Use a Continuous Improvement mindset to strive for Operational Excellence.
• Work with cross functional teams to lead improvement projects which may include but not be limited to the installation of robots, robots, and advanced automation cells. 
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities across the site such as 5s and other Lean Manufacturing projects. 
• Manage engineering changes for normal productions.

All functional departments of the plant, APQP team, Quality, and Key Customers and Suppliers.
