Full Job Description

We are looking for a talented social media manager to administer our social media accounts. You will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts, and responding to followers. You will manage our brands image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals. As a Social media manager, we expect you to be up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, and be able to express our company’s values creatively. Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement. Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Proven work experience as a social media manager.
• Create, manage, and execute day-to-day social media strategy, content, and campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok.
• Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
• Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.
• Plan weekly, monthly and quarterly content calendar for social media posts, Set specific objectives and report on ROI.
• Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics.
• Monitor paid campaigns.
• Track and measure marketing effectiveness across channels.
• Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency.
• Excellent copywriting skills.
• Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
• Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
• Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
• Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research and Google Analytics. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of “Search and Social.
• Update spreadsheets, databases, and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• BA/BS degree in Marketing or relevant field.
• At least 5 years’ experience in managing a Marketing Team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Possess great conflict resolution skills.

• Understanding of social media KPIs; Assist with tracking and interpreting metrics to enhance user engagement, suggest content optimization.
• Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions, detailed oriented.

• Look at social media content and feedback to learn how we can continuously improve.

• Must be a strong team player.

• Ability to work with all levels of company staff.

• Must be capable of handling numerous projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
