Supports the licensed nurses by assuming responsibility for direct and indirect patient care. Performs rounding on patients and families to ensure needs are meet. Maintains one on one (1:1) direct observation of patients who require constant attention. Collects patient data. Communicates professionally and appropriately at all times.
Requirements
Completion of high school education supplemented with coursework or experience which evidences basic knowledge of patient care techniques (i.e. currently enrolled in nursing or other related medical field and/or proven competency based qualifications of PCT II. Obtain American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintains continuous certification; obtains Behavioral Health & De-Escalation training (BHDT) within six (6) months of employment and maintains annual certification.
