Pharmacy Technician Job Description: 

TIB Pharmacy is one of the nation's leading pharmacies, which facilities supply medications to thousands of residents and patients. TIB Pharmacy is Hiring Full time Pharmacy Technician that will be part of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• You will report to the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC), or to any person assigned by him.

•  Assist Pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records.

• Pharmacy Technician is responsible for following established policies and procedures, receives, reviews, sorts and processes drug and supply orders.

• Taking calls and placing orders for customers

• Prepping and checking prescriptions for pharmacist

• Responding to the requests of patients and healthcare providers, answering their questions and referring various inquiries to the Pharmacist

• Complying with rules, regulations and procedures to help maintain a clean and safe pharmacy, such as by sterilizing equipment and surfaces

Qualifications:

• Previous experience preferred.

• Work on-site.

• Reliable with good work ethics.

• Good computer typing skills and able to maintain databases.

• Collaborates wells with the rest of pharmacy staff.

• Current Pharmacy Technician registration with the California State Board of Pharmacy is required.
