Position Purpose: The Cashier provides excellent customer service to all customers. Cashier will receive and processes payments Responsibilities/Duties:
- Acknowledge and greet customers with a positive attitude
- Operates register, handles cash, and process credit card transactions
- Counts money back to customer in an accurate and concise manner.
- Count the cash in the drawer at the end of the day ensuring cash equals receipts.
Qualifications
Job/Education and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Professional personal appearance
- Bilingual is a plus (Spanish)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to speak clearly
- Detail oriented and highly observant
- Precise accuracy with money counting
- Customer oriented with a good attitude
- Possesses strong mathematical skills
- Cash handling experience required
- Friendly with integrity and sincerity
- Ability to stay positive in high stress situations.
