Medical Assistant

We are currently seeking a FULL-TIME (40 hours per week, Monday – Friday) or PART-TIME (20 hours per week, Monday – Friday) medical assistant here for our integrative health center. This is a patient-focused position. The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, be patient-oriented, and must be willing to embrace our mission. Job duties may include:

• Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone in a professional manner
• Take and document patient vitals
• Schedule appointments/appointment reminders
• Assemble charts
• Complete accurate documentation of patient visits
• Administer Injections

Qualifications/Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
• Proven working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task & maintain efficiency
• Maintain highest level of confidentiality
• Must be professional, have the ability to communicate and cooperate with colleagues to promote a healthy working environment
• Degree in medical assistance with IV certification (IV certification preferred, but not required. Will train right person)

Meek Integrative Health Center began as Meek Chiropractic in 2005, founded by Dr. Gary Meek and Tara Meek. Knowing that a path to wellness does not begin or end with chiropractic care, in 2019 we opened 180 Health Medical and Wellness Center to provide natural medical services. In 2022, we made the decision to combine the forces of Meek Chiropractic and 180 Health Medical & Wellness Center to form Meek Integrative Health Center.
