Medpace is Hiring an Information Technology Project Manager Near Cincinnati, OH

Job Summary

Our corporate activities are growing rapidly, and we are currently seeking a full-time, office-based Project Manager to join our Information Technology team.

Responsibilities

As our team has several openings at different levels and in different skill areas, the list below are samples of some of the technologies that we work with. While we desire candidates with experience in these specific technologies, we also understand that each of them have market alternatives, so the most important skillset a candidate can have is a good attitude and have a strong work ethic. Top candidates will have an aptitude to learn new technology and have a “do what it takes” attitude.

  • Setting project goals and coming up with plans to meet those goals
  • Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports
  • Managing resources for projects, including employees and consultants
  • Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities
  • Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence
  • Conducting risk assessments for projects
  • Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress
  • Serving as primary liaison between IT and business owners for purposes of communication, prioritization, progress updates, and issue escalation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related discipline;
  • 1-3 years of IT Project Management experience;
  • Certification in project management preferred;
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical projects;
  • Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Develop and build strong teams; foster teamwork across departments/groups;
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Medpace executives and business leaders;
  • Manage project budgets;
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and execute organizational strategy; and
  • Excellent management, leadership, communication, presentation, organization and positive influencing skills.
