Job Summary

Our corporate activities are growing rapidly, and we are currently seeking a full-time, Pharmacy Technician to join our Clinical Pharmacology Unit team. This position will work on a team to accomplish tasks and projects that are instrumental to the company’s success. Responsibilities

• Properly store and prepare study medication and calculate appropriate dose for each subject, when necessary;
• Assist with receiving and storing incoming supplies;
• Assist with maintaining drug accountability records;
• Maintaining pharmacy cleanliness and sterilizing necessary equipment according to USP guidelines;
• Ensure compliance with federal, state , and local laws for drug storage and dispensing; and
• Ensure safety and protection of study subjects according to the protocol and pharmacy manual (if applicable), Good Clinical Practice, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), International Conference on Harmonisation Guidelines, etc.

Qualifications

• High school diploma;
• Current Pharmacy Technician certification and active registration with the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT);
• This position requires a Urine toxicology screening and back ground check
• At least 1-3 years’ experience in sterile and non-sterile compounding in a pharmacy setting, 3-5 years preferred
