Job Description:
The Physical Therapy Assistant aides the therapists with patient care. The Physical Therapy Assistant who is licensed performs only those patient care duties delegated by a therapist. The scope of patient care will vary with the experience, education, and training of the Assistant. Example of patient care duties may include, but are not limited to, guided therapeutic exercise, ROM, functional activity training, and the application of therapeutic modalities.
Requirements
1. Must possess a Physical Therapy Assistant license and be certified to practice in the State of Alaska.
2. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
3. Must possess a high school diploma/GED.
4. Must be BLS certified and maintain this certification.
5. Must demonstrated the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., or 25% of body weight without injury to self or others.
Additional Information:
Salary range $31.60 per hour to $41.30 per hour based on experience. Also, offering a Relocation assistance of $10,000.00 for those living outside Alaska and $7,500.00 for those living in Alaska currently
