Medical Office is Hiring a Medical Office Receptionist Near Grifton, NC

Job Description:

  • Must have excellent Customer Service skills.
  • Answer multiple telephone lines, taking messages and directing calls.
  • Responsible for assuring the readiness of the reception area, opening the office at the designated time and having all front desk services fully operational at the start of business hours.
  • Collect and scan personal, medical, and insurance information to provide accurate verification of benefits.
  • Responsible for collecting copays, deductibles and/or past due balances when patients check in.
  • Maintain and transmit correspondence and medical records by mail, e-mail and fax
  • Knowledge of EMR software, Microsoft Office and HIPAA regulations.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
  • Must have great work ethic and attention to detail is imperative
  • Be willing to work in a fast paced environment while being able to multi-task
  • Must be flexible with work hours
