Friday 8:00 AM-12:00 PM

Overview:

MANA Family Medicine Thompson is currently in search of a LPN. This is a full-time position working Monday through Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am -12:00 pm. Applicant must love working with patients of all ages, awesome Physicians and APRN, amazing Nurses, Medical Assistants and Lab Techs. Must be self-motivated and have a pleasant personality.

The Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse is responsible for providing direct or indirect nursing care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices and ethics; participates in the organization and management of the physicians’ practice.

How to ApplyTo apply for a position at any MANA Clinic, you must complete a MANA employment application. Applicants may list the position(s) they are interested in applying on the application and only need to complete one application. Applications are reviewed by the Human Resources Department at the MANA Administrative Office and are shared with the clinic managers. Applications are kept in our database for managers to review for six (6) months. MANA is an equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures pre-visit planning workflow is completed prior to visit, whenever possible
  • Optimizes care coordination with; hospitals, emergency room, consulting physicians, and community resources as needed
  • Develops workflow to ensure smooth transition of care for patients treated in facility by a specialty position or other healthcare provider
  • Reviews after visit summary with patients when appropriate
  • Triage patients to ensure productive departmental flow

Qualifications

  • MANA requires evidence of COVID-19 vaccination for all staff; religious and medical exemptions will be granted in accordance with applicable state and federal law
  • Graduation certificate from accredited LPN or RN school of nursing
  • Active LPN or RN License
  • 2 years’ experience preferred, but not required
