Position Overview
The Associate Director, Paid Social is a strong strategic contributor with ability to assemble social thought leadership recommendations and insightful results and reporting. The Associate Director, Paid Social will strengthen and broadening client relationships resulting in a deeper footprint with the organization. In this position, you will drive the process for an integrated business, aligning and ensuring all paid social recommendations and strategy is closely integrated with other disciplines and the social team is working together in support of the business.
Responsibilities
- Oversight and leadership of client relationships.
- Aligns with client goals and acting as a strategic partner to exceed them.
- Oversees all elements of social campaigns to ensure
- Provide guidance on new opportunities
- Drives the process for an integrated business, aligns and ensures the paid social strategy and team is working with other channel disciplines in support of the business.
- Plays an active role in conflict resolution. Identifies, manages, and resolves problems before they escalate.
- Assemble strong strategic thought leadership, and recommendations to drive the business forward and stay ahead in the social media space.
- Helps other members of the team and lets junior members shine as well.
- Helps creatives express their ideas with feasible recommendations to tie it closer to the brief.
- Passionate about innovation and the creative process, desires to find creative ways say "yes" to ideas and to contribute your own.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 6 - 10 year of experience required; 5 years of agency experience required; experience managing 2 direct reports.
- Software: Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) Keynote, Facebook and Instagram are a must; Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest and LinkedIn are a plus.
- Communication: strong written and verbal communication required.
- Understanding of paid social measurement and experience utilizing multiple native measurement tools
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, close attention to detail, strong quantitative skills, including analytical and story-telling ability.
